We are excited to announce another 150 trees are being planted along our trail system this month. Trees not only add beauty to the landscaping and neighborhood but also are important for managing runoff.

“Their leaf canopies help reduce erosion caused by falling rain. Trees also provide surface area where rain water lands and evaporates. Roots take up water and help create conditions in the soil that promote infiltration.” *

For several years now MUD 365 has partnered with Trees For Houston to make this happen. To date this collaboration has brought ~550 new trees to the district!
