Today around 6:30 a.m., there was a power surge at water well #2. This surge caused the well to stop running. Si Environmental quickly had operators at the site to investigate. They were able to fix the issue right away and got the well back up and running.
Because it happened during the current unusually high early morning demand period, it was felt through out the district resulting in low pressures at residential homes. Whenever a home experiences a drop in pressure, it is common to see some discolored watered till the line clears out.
We would like to ask that residents please run sprinklers between 10 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. to help us out during these record setting high temperatures.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know or call Si Environmental’s 24-hour dispatch at 832-490-1601.
