Dear Residents,

As we enter the hot summer season, please be mindful of your water usage. The Houston area has been experiencing drought-like conditions for some time and if there is no major shift in the weather, we may be forced to employ additional water conservation measures as outlined in our Drought Contingency Plan (see below). Please conserve wherever you can. Our website has lots of suggestions for smart water use under the “Conservation” tab.

Thank you for your help!

MUD 365’s Drought Contingency Plan has three stages:
  1. Mild Drought – This condition (herein, “Mild Drought Conditions”) exists when the average run time for the wells serving the District is at or above eighteen (18) hours for 3 consecutive days, as determined by the District’s operator by monitoring the District’s water production information and any other appropriate information or factors.
  2. Moderate Drought – This condition (herein, “Moderate Drought Conditions”) exists when the average run time for the wells serving the District is at or above twenty (20) hours for 3 consecutive days, as determined by the District’s operator by monitoring the District’s water production information and any other appropriate information or factors.
  3. Severe Drought – This condition (herein, 11Severe Drought Conditions11) exists when the average run time for the wells serving the District is at or above twenty-two (22) hours for 3 consecutive days, as determined by the District’s operator by monitoring the District’s water production information and any other appropriate information or factors.

Please contact our Operator, Si Environmental, at 832-490-1600 if you have any questions.
